Consider joining a fun, dynamic group that staffs a single Emergency department with approximately 43,000 annual ED visits! We are seeking an NP or PA to join our independent group, Green Bay Emergency Medicine Services, SC (GEMS). We are also seeking candidates who have an interest in Urgent Care or Observation Medicine as we are poised for growth. Flexible to full-time & part-time.

GEMS has been the only group to staff Bellin Hospital with a stable contract for over 20 years. As a member of Bellin Health Partners, a clinically integrated network system, GEMS works in partnership with Bellin Health and other independent practices to create value through improved patient experience, and quality and affordable care that has a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the community.

You will find Green Bay to be a competitive health care environment. Our community includes two comprehensive stroke centers, with Bellin Hospital being a primary stroke center, and two level 2 trauma centers. While traumatically injured patients are routinely seen at the site, Bellin hospital does not currently participate in the state trauma program.

Practice Details:

· Staff a single site Hospital Emergency Department in Green Bay, WI; Bellin Hospital
· APC schedule is predictable with a recurring template every 7-8 weeks
· APC’s work roughly 1 in 3 weekends
· 22 patient care beds
· 6 bed KidCare department ~ Staffed by Pediatric Hospitalists from 4:30-9:30 pm
· On Site Radiology & Lab Services
· Robust specialty support with OB and pediatrics in house 24/7 and a strong cooperative relationship with the hospitalists and intensivists
