Required Skills:

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Proven experience in all General GI and ERCP procedures
  • Proficiency with Olympus endoscopy equipment
  • Strong knowledge of EMR systems, preferably EPIC
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • TN Medical License or IMLC certification
  • DEA licensure for Tennessee
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and patient management skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with EUS procedures
  • Prior experience in a hospital or multi-specialty practice setting
  • Advanced training or certification in specialized GI procedures
  • Experience with telemedicine or remote consults
  • Knowledge of integrations and documentation systems supporting endoscopy and hospital workflows

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 3-5 years of post-fellowship clinical practice
  • Prior experience in similar high-volume endoscopy units

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain or maintain Tennessee licensure and DEA registration
  • Ability to work a rolling schedule including 24-hour call coverage, weekdays, and weekends
  • Flexibility around EUS scheduling and procedures
  • Ability to adapt to variable patient volumes and surgical demands
