We are seeking a highly motivated Electrophysiology PA to support a busy, innovative cardiology department at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Board-certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice in the state
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Prior experience in cardiology, interventional, or electrophysiology settings
- Strong procedural and clinical skills specific to cardiac electrophysiology
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Prior involvement in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant clinical experience in cardiology or electrophysiology
- Proven track record in performing or supporting electrophysiological procedures
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Day shifts (4x10-hour days, 08:00 - 18:00)
- Credentialing in approximately 90 days; temporary credentials may be available for qualified candidates
- Willingness to support postoperative care and participate in a busy clinical environment
