Job Title: Hospitalist Physician

Hourly Pay Rate: $167.70

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team primarily for nocturnist coverage. The schedule consists of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts on a 7 on/7 off rotation, with additional PRN fill-in shifts as needed. This role does not require call coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hospitalist services for patients with an average census of 15-18 patients and approximately 8 admissions per 12-hour shift.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation; prior experience preferred.
• Ensure all patients receive appropriate medical management within the scope of hospitalist practice.
• Adhere to all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active NCMB license and DEA in-hand (credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days; no licensing assistance provided).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Vaccinations as mandated.
• Minimum experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
