Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a highly qualified Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our team starting November 9, 2026. This position offers a dynamic clinical environment focused on providing exceptional maternal and fetal care in a busy obstetric emergency department.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: November 9, 2026
  • Schedule: 4-6 shifts per month, 24-hour in-house call shifts
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $370.50
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
    • Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
    • Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
    • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
    • Serve as the primary safety net for the labor and delivery unit
    • Provide consults to Emergency Department and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
    • Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge
    • Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
    • Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives focused on maternal and neonatal outcomes
    • Follow evidence-based protocols and patient safety standards
  • Delivery & Surgical Experience:
    • Vaginal deliveries
    • Cesarean sections
    • Emergency obstetrical procedures

  • Family Medicine Physicians

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO required
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program with robotics training
  • Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
  • IMLC candidates must submit LOQ with presentation
  • Recent delivery and surgical experience required
