Job Details:

• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Shift Schedule:
  • Ongoing procedures and call coverage
  • 8/17 7am - 24/7 (initial shift)
  • 9/1, 9/28, 10/1: 10-hour days (7am-5pm)
  • M-F Night Call (7am-7am)
  • Weekend 24-hour call on Saturdays and Sundays
• Work Details:
  • Support Staff: Onsite Anesthesiology
  • Coverage Needed: 1 week per month and weekends
  • Patient Population: Adults 18+
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Hospital Bed Size: 593 beds
  • Procedures: No ERCP or EUS scheduled, emergency procedures only
  • Outpatient Procedures Scheduled Mainly in the mornings
  • Rounding: Yes, with a daily census of 30-50 patients, including 9-16 new consults per day
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based
• Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Physician Assistant (PA) license required; DEA license needed
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary options available with a clean file)
  • Active PA License or IMLC in hand required
  • APP supervision for consults and follow-ups
