Specialty: Hospitalist Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
We welcome experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Providers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure
- National certification as an NP or PA
- Hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or inpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Opportunity Details
- Full-time Hospitalist APP position providing comprehensive inpatient care
- Perform admissions, patient evaluations, daily rounding, and discharge planning
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in collaboration with physician colleagues
- Coordinate care with specialists, nursing teams, case management, rehabilitation services, and ancillary departments
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Opportunity to develop strong relationships with patients and families while providing continuity of care during hospitalization
