Practice Highlights: 

  • Daily Encounters: 184  
  • 8 Physicians / 3 APPs daytime; 2 Physicians / 1 APP at night  
  • Dedicated full-time swing shift position (2 p.m. - 2 a.m.)
  • Closed ICU model with dedicated intensivist coverage  
  • Dedicated admitters and hospitalist-staffed observation unit  
  • EMR: Epic  

What your practice will look like: 

Youll work in a structured hospitalist program with strong Physician and APP collaboration. The model supports efficient workflows, defined roles, and team-based care, allowing for consistent, high-quality inpatient care across a diverse patient population.

CarolinaEast Medical Center is a 350-bed community hospital serving coastal North Carolina, with a broad range of specialty services and a large, well-established medical staff.

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Estimated employed W-2 pay range of $70/hour to $90/hour

Requirements: 

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification  
  • Hospitalist experience preferred
