What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient care and consultations for infectious disease cases at Stafford Hospital
- Collaborate with hospital staff to develop care plans for hospitalized patients
- Manage new consults during weekday hours, with on-call coverage for after-hours consultation needs
- Document patient care activities accurately in the medical record
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical standards
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Support hospital efforts to deliver high-quality patient care in infectious disease management
What You Need
- Valid medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain
- Board Certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years inpatient infectious disease experience
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on inpatient care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
