MUSC Health is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Structural Heart Program on a PRN basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary cardiovascular team caring for patients with complex valvular and structural heart disease.

In this position, you will support procedural and clinical care across the continuum, contributing to innovative, life-changing therapies such as TAVR, MitraClip, and other transcatheter interventions.

The practice is part of MUSC Health’s greater Heart & Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina. Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Board certified and licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina
  • Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred
  • Experience with structural heart or interventional cardiology strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills

Position Highlights:

  • Provide PRN clinical support for the Structural Heart Program across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings
  • Assist with patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of structural heart conditions including aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and other complex valvular disease
  • Participate in pre-procedural workups, peri-procedural care, and post-procedural follow-up for interventions such as TAVR, TEER, and LAAO
  • Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, imaging specialists, and care teams
  • Perform clinical assessments, documentation, and coordination of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support continuity of care through patient education, discharge planning, and follow-up management
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, innovation, and patient-centered excellence
