Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Rehabilitation Services Manager to lead and grow our rehabilitation program while maintaining an active clinical practice. Located in northeast Nebraska, WCHS provides comprehensive healthcare services in a collaborative environment where providers enjoy strong administrative support, manageable patient volumes, and the opportunity to serve an appreciative community.

Opportunity Highlights

• Full-time employed position within a health system
• Leadership role with a blend of:
  • 80% clinical care
  • 20% administrative responsibilities
• Direct report to the Chief Medical Officer
• Supervise two direct reports
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No call responsibilities
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
• Average patient volume of approximately 8 patients per day
• Opportunity to influence and develop rehabilitation services
• Collaborative healthcare environment with strong leadership support
• Meditech Expanse EMR
• One-year contract with automatic renewal

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $135,000-$150,000

Practice Environment

• Rehabilitation Services department within an integrated health system
• Works alongside an established chiropractor and support staff
• Access to modern physical therapy equipment
• Full-service healthcare environment
• 13-bed hospital with low-acuity patient population
• Average inpatient census of approximately two patients daily
• No pediatric admissions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed or eligible for Physical Therapist licensure in Nebraska
• Current BLS certification
• Leadership experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates (Class of 2026) are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for patient-centered care and program development
