What You’ll Do
- Provide medical consults and support inpatient rounding for adult patients
- Evaluate and treat common medical concerns (e.g., sore throats, rashes, and other medical issues)
- Conduct medication-related assessments and medical consults as needed
- Cover ED and inpatient medical coverage based on service needs
- Collaborate with the care team, including nursing staff and social workers, to support patient care
- Work within a structured unit environment focused on medical treatment needs (not behavioral health)
What You Need
Required
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure (state requirements to be confirmed)
- Ability to provide on-site coverage only (no telehealth)
Preferred
- Relevant experience providing inpatient medical care/consults for adult patients
- Comfort working in a fast-paced consult service environment with multidisciplinary support
About the Assignment
This is an on-site, adult medical consult and inpatient rounding assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00–4:30 PM) at a leading facility in Natick, Massachusetts. The NP will support medical evaluation and treatment needs for inpatient patients, with team support from mid-level providers, nurses, and social workers.
