What You’ll Do
- Provide Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology services in a clinic and scheduled procedure setting
- Manage clinic and procedure days within an assigned rotational model (preferred: 1 clinic day + 4 procedure days, flexible)
- Perform GI procedures scheduled each day (typically 10–14 procedures/day)
- Work with highly skilled endoscopy teams and brand-new endoscopy suites
- Utilize Epic support and collaborate with APC support in clinic
- Support inpatient workflow as needed (inpatient census averages 28–30 on MSP and 3–4 in ICU/IMCU)
- Note: ERCP and EUS are not performed at this facility
What You NeedRequired
- Act 10 acceptable (licensure requirements as applicable for the role)
- Experience in GI clinic and scheduled procedures (exact years not specified)
- Comfort with a clinic + procedure model and a rotating week on/week off schedule
- Prior experience working in settings with endoscopy teams and modern endoscopy suites (not required)
About the Assignment
This is a week on/week off opportunity in Wisconsin Rapids, WI supporting clinic and scheduled procedures only, with no call. The facility provides APC support in clinic and Epic/EHR support, and offers modern endoscopy infrastructure with very efficient endoscopy teams. While ERCP and EUS are not performed, anesthesia support may be available during certain blocks/dates as staffing allows.
