What You’ll Do
- Participate in daily inpatient neurosurgery rounding with residents to align on patient plans
- Review patients needing to be seen, assess status, and coordinate next steps
- Write/issue orders and manage inpatient workflow to support continuity of care
- Support inpatient neurosurgery patient management, including ongoing updates to the plan of care
- Assist with discharge-related tasks after inpatient management needs are addressed
- Provide patient care only (resident program supports procedural/OR needs)
- Prefer to assist with drain management (e.g., hemovac/jp drains) when applicable
What You Need
Required - Board Certification in Neurosurgery
- Massachusetts (MA) state license
- At least 1 year of neurosurgery experience
- Ability to complete credentialing (timeframe noted: 90 days)
Preferred - Experience with removing hemovac/jp drains
