Anesthesiology Cardiac Physician – York, PA (Contract)
Join a hospital-based cardiac anesthesia team starting 09/21/2026. What You’ll Do- Provide cardiac anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical/procedural areas.
- Support anesthesia care for a varied patient population (all ages).
- Work with the clinical team in a Level I Trauma environment handling complex cases.
- Use and document care in the Epic EMR.
- Participate in call coverage as required (night beeper call 1–2 nights per week).
- Collaborate with the team to help ensure safe, effective perioperative patient management.
What You NeedRequired - Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
- License: PA license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA: Not required (no DEA)
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Experience: At least 2 years (minimum required)
Preferred - Prior experience supporting cardiac anesthesia in hospital or high-acuity environments
About the AssignmentThis hospital-based cardiac anesthesiology assignment provides ongoing support for a Level I Trauma program. You’ll partner with surgeons and specialty clinicians to deliver care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas, with a diverse and complex patient population. Coverage scheduling will vary by daily assignment, with M-F day shift patterns and occasional night beeper call (1–2 nights per week).
