What You’ll Do
- Provide non-invasive cardiology services in an outpatient setting
- Perform and interpret echocardiography and electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic care with a focus on continuity
- Collaborate with a multi-specialty medical group and supportive clinical staff
- Work alongside 2 APRNs, supporting coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner
- Support ongoing cardiovascular services within a well-supported environment (local hospital partnership supports additional reads as needed)
What You Need
Required
- Physician with specialty training/experience in Cardiology
- Ability to provide echocardiography and EKG services
- Willingness to complete/obtain VT licensure if needed (estimated credentialing timeframe: ~2 months, potentially sooner)
Preferred
- Experience working in outpatient cardiology settings
- Comfort collaborating within a clinic model and with advanced practice providers
About the Assignment
This locum opportunity is for a primarily outpatient non-invasive cardiology role at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont. The assignment supports a collaborative multi-specialty practice and covers the retirement transition of the current staff cardiologist, with no call and an expected patient volume of approximately 16 clinic patients per day.
