What You’ll Do
- Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage for inpatient/outpatient settings
- Manage STEMI coverage and perform PCIs for diagnostic cath cases as expected
- Perform and support coronary angiograms and interventional procedures (e.g., PCI; diagnostic caths)
- Cover right/left heart catheterization and assist with echo/stress interpretation as needed
- Handle patient follow-up under your own patient assignments until sign-off
- Participate in a coordinated care environment with existing cardiology and anesthesia support as needed
What You Need
Required
- OR physician license (emergency credentialing available; clean malpractice record required)
- Experience providing interventional procedures (e.g., PCI/diagnostic caths)
- Ability to cover STEMI responses and related PCI duties
Preferred
- Familiarity with inpatient/outpatient cardiology workflow and consult management
- Experience with common cardiology EMR workflows (facility uses Meditech)
About the Assignment
You’ll support a Heart & Vascular program in Roseburg, OR during defined coverage windows, providing Interventional Cardiology support across inpatient/outpatient consults and catheterization/interventional needs. Coverage includes 24-hour call with STEMI response (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.), with support staff and established hospitalist services handling admits.
Scheduled coverage windows provided (may extend):
- July 9–12 (could extend through 07/13–07/14)
- August 10–17
