Physician - Surgery

Community Physician Network is seeking a board-certified Bariatrician to join our established Medical Weight Management Program in Central Indiana at Community Hospital South.

Position Highlights
       Full-time clinical role with a well-established patient base with established referral system
       Work alongside a dedicated bariatric surgery team in an integrated care model setting
       Part of an MBSAQIP-accredited center committed to excellence in metabolic and bariatric care
       No Call
       Competitive compensation and benefits package, including incentives

Desired Requirements:
       ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) certification
       MD or DO with active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
       Strong clinical background in obesity medicine and medical weight management
       Knowledge of pre- and post-operative medical management for bariatric surgery patients
       Familiarity with accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives

Responsibilities
       Provide comprehensive medical weight management services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing care
       Collaborate with bariatric surgeons and clinical team members to deliver coordinated care
       Manage pre-operative optimization and post-operative medical follow-up for surgical patients
       Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement activities
       Contribute to maintaining MBSAQIP accreditation standards
