- Provide first assist support during gynecological surgeries, including robotic procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons in an inpatient OR setting
- Assist with pre-op and post-op patient care instructions
- Maintain sterile and safe surgical environment according to hospital protocols
- Document procedures accurately in Cerner/Oracle EMR
- Contribute to efficient OR operations, managing 2-6 surgeries daily
- Active PA license in New Jersey
- First Assist Certification (robotic surgery experience preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of surgical assist experience in gynecology
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgical team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Cerner/Oracle EMR systems
This assignment involves providing first assist support in Gynecology Surgery at age-appropriate adult patient populations (GYN, robotic surgeries). The facilities are well-equipped hospitals recognized for their commitment to quality care. Credentialing is anticipated to take 2-3 months. Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates is available for approved travel.
