What You’ll Do
  • Provide specialized critical care management for pediatric patients in a Level II & III NICU, pediatric unit, and ICU
  • Conduct rounds alongside residents and handle overnight call duties during weekends
  • Manage acute emergencies such as cardiac arrests, respiratory failure, sepsis, and trauma
  • Perform procedures including chest tube insertion, central line placement, ICP evaluations, and hemodialysis
  • Use advanced equipment and EMR systems (Epic) to document patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiology, surgery, cardiology, and neurology

What You Need
Required:
  • Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
  • Active South Carolina medical license
  • PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
  • DEA license
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts and handle high-acuity pediatric cases

Preferred:
  • Experience in pediatric ICU or emergency settings
  • Flexibility to respond to acute medical and surgical conditions
