Your Role & Impact

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of 9 otolaryngologists, 7 advanced care practitioners, 5 audiologists, and a hearing instrument specialist
  • Shape and grow clinical, educational, and research initiatives within a nationally recognized health system
  • Play a central role in developing a future Otolaryngology residency program
  • Mentor faculty and contribute to medical student and resident education
  • Collaborate across a large, integrated healthcare system serving over one million patients

Youll be based at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 763-bed Level I Trauma Center and academic hub, with opportunities to extend care across a regional network of hospitals and clinics.

What Were Looking For

  • MD or DO, Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an academic setting
  • Academic rank of Associate Professor or higher
  • A record of academic achievement and clinical excellence
  • A collaborative leader with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passion for team development, education, and program growth
  • Experience with graduate medical education and program development is a plus
