St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a full time inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, with a primary focus on the MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted) unit and additional coverage of the geriatric unit as needed. Position Details:

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care primarily on a 14-bed MICA (addiction) unit with occasional geriatric unit coverage
  • Work within a collaborative model supported by 1 Psychiatrist and 0.5 Nurse Practitioner
  • Average patient volume: 8–9 patients per provider
  • Work closely with addiction specialists, therapists, and case managers
  • Call Rotation: 1:6 weekends

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

  • Compensation is between $145,459 and $162,914 commensurate with experience
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
  • $5,000 starting bonus
