Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Oncology Physician, you will diagnose, stage, and treat cancer using systemic therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted treatments) and lead multidisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Every day you will develop personalized treatment plans, manage complex patient cases, provide symptom management, and coordinate long-term follow-up and survivorship care. You will be supported by extensive resources, empowering you to focus on direct patient care and innovation.

To be successful, you will be a board-certified (or eligible) Medical Oncologist with expertise in cancer diagnostics and systemic therapies. You will possess strong analytical skills, clinical acumen, and a compassionate approach, committed to guiding patients through their cancer journey and upholding the highest ethical standards.

  • Diagnose and stage cancer through patient examination, biopsies, imaging, and test interpretation.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and nurses for comprehensive care coordination.
  • Monitor patients, manage side effects, and coordinate palliative/supportive care.
  • Provide long-term follow-up for recurrence screening and survivorship care plans.
  • Participate in Tumor Boards and facilitate access to clinical trials.
  • Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
  • Leverage Physician Group resources to optimize efficiency.

Job Requirements

Required

  • MD or DO required
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency and fellowship aligned with specialty
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
  • Ability to obtain Medical Staff privileges within the health system
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
  • Current, unrestricted DEA registration

$250.00 - 283.97 /hour
