Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Federal Way, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of womens health cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Womens Health disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • Full-time (.80-1.0FTE) position based at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA, a 124 bed Level III trauma center.

  • Join 5 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNMs and 2 APPs at this location.

  • All of our providers enjoy a 4 day work week which includes 4-5 calls per month.

  • The group does approximately 120 deliveries per month. There is 24/7 anesthesia coverage as well as OB hospitalist coverage for OB triage, OB emergencies and ED calls.

  • St. Francis has a special care nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks. Our partner facility, St. Joseph Medical Center has a Level III NICU and is in close proximity for transfers if needed. We also have a partnership with Seattle Childrens for specialty newborn care if needed.

  • Enjoy a mix of both gynecology and obstetrics - including high risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. For gynecological surgeries, you will have access to 3 DaVinci XI robots with block time.

  • VMFH Womens Health Service line includes 6 MFMs, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists.

  • Federal Way is located along the Puget Sound Inlet and shadowed by the majestic Mount Rainier in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area.

  • We are offering competitive starting salary guarantees which convert to RVU production after the first year as well as quality incentive bonus opportunity. Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Washington

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families
