Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Federal Way, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of womens health cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.
You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Womens Health disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
Full-time (.80-1.0FTE) position based at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA, a 124 bed Level III trauma center.
Join 5 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNMs and 2 APPs at this location.
All of our providers enjoy a 4 day work week which includes 4-5 calls per month.
The group does approximately 120 deliveries per month. There is 24/7 anesthesia coverage as well as OB hospitalist coverage for OB triage, OB emergencies and ED calls.
St. Francis has a special care nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks. Our partner facility, St. Joseph Medical Center has a Level III NICU and is in close proximity for transfers if needed. We also have a partnership with Seattle Childrens for specialty newborn care if needed.
Enjoy a mix of both gynecology and obstetrics - including high risk obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. For gynecological surgeries, you will have access to 3 DaVinci XI robots with block time.
VMFH Womens Health Service line includes 6 MFMs, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists.
Federal Way is located along the Puget Sound Inlet and shadowed by the majestic Mount Rainier in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area.

Job Requirements
Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
Active or eligible license in the state of Washington
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families
