Kar Medical Care is a growing, highly organized adult primary care practice seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our newly expanded Woodbridge location. We heavily prioritize provider work-life balance with structured protocols, dedicated support, and built-in administrative time to prevent clinical burnout.


Quick Look:

  • Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. No on-call, evening, or weekend requirements. Built-in afternoon administrative time ensures you can finish charting before heading home.
  • Supportive Environment: Enjoy a highly efficient workflow with established practice protocols, Medical Assistant support, and convenient in-office labs.
  • Location: Primarily based at the outpatient clinic in Woodbridge, VA (with a very rare, occasional need to provide coverage at the Springfield location).


Practice Overview:

  • Broad Scope of Care: Provide full-scope internal medicine to an adult demographic (ages 18+), alongside expanding service lines in medical weight loss and hormone therapy.
  • Clinical Duties: Perform comprehensive primary care, routine wellness visits, women's/men's health exams (e.g., Pap smears), and EKG interpretations.
  • Quality Over Quantity: Manage a highly comfortable volume of 18-20 patients per day (starting slower to allow you to build your panel). Benefit from 30-minute slots for new patients and wellness visits, and 15-minute slots for follow-ups, with the autonomy to extend appointment times to 30 minutes for complex patients.
  • Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $130,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Virginia license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience: Open to all experience levels; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Attributes: Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.
