Join a well-established, physician-led Emergency Medicine team at Saint Joseph Hospital, a respected 400-bed hospital located in the heart of Denver. 

Saint Joseph Hospital is a high-acuity Level IV Trauma Center with approximately 55,000 annual Emergency Department visits. The department is supported by Epic EMR, a dedicated Observation Unit, Fast Track, onsite laboratory and radiology services, and collaborative relationships with hospitalists and specialty consultants.

Emergency Department 

Our physicians practice in a collaborative environment supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and dedicated nursing staff. 

Coverage 

• 45 physician coverage hours daily 
• 27 APP coverage hours daily 
• APP coverage until 1:00 AM 

Physician Schedule 

Flexible scheduling with a variety of day, swing, and night shifts. 

Day Shifts 

• 6:00 AM-2:00 PM 
• 9:00 AM-6:00 PM 

Swing Shifts 

• 2:00 PM-11:00 PM 
• 5:00 PM-2:00 AM 

Night Shift 

• 10:00 PM-7:00 AM

Our physician compensation model rewards both productivity and quality while providing flexibility for physicians seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, or Independent Contractor opportunities. 

W2 Compensation

• RVU Productivity Compensation Model
• 90% Productivity
• 10% Quality Service Performance (QSP)
• Average physician compensation: $230-250/hour
• Guaranteed hourly rate plus RVU productivity
• Night Shift Differential
• Business Expense Reimbursement Allowance (BERA)

1099 Compensation

Candidate Qualifications 

• MD or DO 
• ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified/Board Eligible 
• ATLS required for Non-ABEM physicians 
• Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain) 
• DEA required
