Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking BC/BE inpatient medicine hospitalist physicians for full/time permanent positions in Bangor, Maine to join a dynamic, Physician-Led Inpatient Medicine/Hospitalist Model. 

Our team works in a team-oriented and collegial environment with a great administrative/support team. We encourage both new graduates and experienced candidates to apply!

Position Details:

  • Join well-established team at a modern, 411-bed ACS-Verified level II trauma center
  • 15 +/- shifts per month with flexible block scheduling to include days and nights
  • Procedures are not required
  • Full spectrum of sub-specialty backup and consultation
  • Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist support

Service in-house:

  • Interventional Radiology 
  • Trauma/General Surgery in house 24/7
  • Critical Care Intensivists in house 24/7
  • In-System LifeFlight of Maine Air/Ground Critical Care Transport Program

Compensation Information:

  • $304,307- $323,969 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality.
  • The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.  The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc
