The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and Department of Neurology at West Virginia University School of Medicine are seeking Adult Epilepsy Specialists qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.  The candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

WVU Medicine maintains a Level IV Comprehensive Epilepsy program. The Epilepsy Center includes hardwired video-EEG monitory units for both adults and pediatrics. The facility also features neuroimaging support including spectroscopic MRI and quantitative PET scans.

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) is a comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care, education, and research institute providing neurological and mental healthcare through more than 300,000 visits annually. The 300+ physicians and scientists of the RNI improve lives by pioneering advances in neuroscience, brain health, and therapeutics. The RNI team uses the latest technologies with academic, government, and industry partners to make tangible progress to combat public health challenges ranging from addiction to Alzheimers disease.

Duties: In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Ample opportunities for research exist.
 

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure. Epilepsy or neurophysiology fellowship completion is accepted. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in neurology and epilepsy/neurophysiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
