The West Texas VA Health Care System is seeking a dynamic Physician Leader to serve as the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) for Ambulatory Care. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a broad network of outpatient services dedicated to delivering high?quality, Veteran?centered care across West Texas.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee all ambulatory and primary care operations, guide clinical quality initiatives, support interdisciplinary care teams, and collaborate closely with executive leadership to advance system?wide goals. The ACOS for Ambulatory Care plays a crucial part in shaping access, performance improvement, and the overall Veteran experience throughout our CBOCs and main facility.
The ideal candidate is an experienced physician with strong administrative acumen, a passion for Veteran care, and proven ability to lead high?performing clinical teams. Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and a current, unrestricted medical license.
