What You’ll Do
- Assist in diagnostic imaging procedures and interventions within the radiology department
- Support physicians during interventional radiology procedures
- Perform patient assessments and assist with patient prep and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality and safety in patient care
- Document clinical activities accurately and timely
- Contribute to patient education and communication
- Provide support in emergency situations related to radiologic procedures
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience in interventional radiology or similar specialty
- Additional certifications relevant to radiologic procedures
