What You’ll Do:
  • Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care for a diverse patient population
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors, tumor board, and research staff
  • Participate in weekly tumor board meetings and contribute to patient management strategies
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 10-15 per day, with support staff handling triage and in-office assessments
  • Support inpatient consults as needed, with most care delivered outpatient
  • Engage with electronic medical records (EMR) system (ONCO EMR) for documentation and order entry
  • Comply with all clinical protocols and maintain high-quality standards of care

What You Need:
  • Valid medical license in Michigan
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Hematology/Oncology preferred
  • Experience working in an outpatient oncology/hematology setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a collegial, fast-paced environment
