JOB SUMMARY
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide outpatient clinic coverage focused on general PM&R, spasticity management, and pain management across UT Southwestern’s Sprague and Aston clinic locations.
Working under physician supervision and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the APP will evaluate and manage patients with a variety of rehabilitation, pain, and neurologic-related conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, follow-up care, medication and pump management, patient and family education, care coordination, and ongoing management of established patients.
This clinic-based role is ideal for an APP who is comfortable practicing with autonomy, enjoys working with complex chronic pain and spasticity populations, and is interested in growing within a collaborative PM&R practice. The position offers the opportunity to support a patient population with meaningful long-term care needs while partnering closely with physicians, APP colleagues, nurses, and support staff. Veteran's encouraged to apply.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities.
