What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive support as part of the cardiothoracic surgical team
  • Assist with complex cardiac procedures, including aortic dissections
  • Support the use of advanced equipment such as surgical robots
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and other staff
  • Contribute to patient care in a high-volume adult cardiothoracic surgery unit
  • Document all procedures accurately in Epic EMR system
  • Adapt to scheduled shifts, call duties, and variable case loads

What You Need
  • WI State license active and in good standing
  • Certified in BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiothoracic surgery, including at least 1 year as a first assist in CVOR
  • Comfortable with aortic dissections and thoracic surgeries (MD/DO) or equivalent experience as a PA
  • DEA certification required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
