What You’ll Do - Provide comprehensive support as part of the cardiothoracic surgical team
- Assist with complex cardiac procedures, including aortic dissections
- Support the use of advanced equipment such as surgical robots
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and other staff
- Contribute to patient care in a high-volume adult cardiothoracic surgery unit
- Document all procedures accurately in Epic EMR system
- Adapt to scheduled shifts, call duties, and variable case loads
What You Need - WI State license active and in good standing
- Certified in BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cardiothoracic surgery, including at least 1 year as a first assist in CVOR
- Comfortable with aortic dissections and thoracic surgeries (MD/DO) or equivalent experience as a PA
- DEA certification required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
