What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency care at regional hospitals, including Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital
- Manage a variety of acute medical conditions and trauma cases
- Collaborate with APCs and hospital staff for patient admissions and discharges
- Cover shifts with flexibility, including solo and double coverage arrangements
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols
- Support regional hospitals within the Northwoods community, offering critical access care
Required:
- Medical license in Wisconsin or eligible for licensure
- Active DEA license
- ACLS, ATLS certifications
- Prior emergency medicine experience (preferred but not required)
Preferred:
- Act 10 eligibility
- Experience in rural or regional hospital ERs
- Strong outdoor or community-oriented background
