Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Internal Medicine/Transitional Care Physician, you will deliver exceptional care to our transitional care patients in an outpatient-only setting in Phoenix. This role offers unparalleled work-life balance within a supportive Dignity Health Medical Group environment.

In this role, you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the well-being of your patients and their families.


To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine physician.You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. You will exhibit effective communication skills and thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • Outpatient only
  • Clinic hours: Monday - Friday
  • 36 patient-facing hours, 4 admin hours
  • Avg 11 patients per day
  • Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix
  • Teaching Residents, Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.

Job Requirements

Required

  • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona

  • Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification

  • Must have previous Academic Medicine/GME experience working with medical students and/or resident physicians

It has a revolutionary Knowledge Donor Program providing life-like cadaveric dissection and learning. You will earn an academic ranking commiserate with work and achievement. Creighton provides full CME, research, and publication support. Future goals will be an orthopedic residency and orthopedic trauma fellowship programs in combination with Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Pay Range
$240,000 - $350,000 /year
