West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine to lead clinical services for Veterans across the Intensive Care Unit and Pulmonary/Sleep Clinics.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and oversee Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine services.
  • Direct care of patients in the ICU and Pulmonary/Sleep Clinics.
  • Perform and/or supervise bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, intubation, central line placement, and other procedures within clinical privileges.
  • Provide Critical Care consultations, ICU evaluations, and daily rounds.
  • Coordinate diagnostic and treatment plans with admitting physicians and consultants.
  • Participate in teaching residents and medical students.
  • Lead quality improvement, patient safety, quality assurance, and chart review initiatives.
  • Participate in ICU Committee meetings and help develop and update policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate

Board-Certified Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician with strong clinical expertise and leadership experience. Candidates committed to teaching, quality improvement, and Veteran-centered care are encouraged to apply.
