Job Summary
Reading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing, collegial team. The role is approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient, offering a dynamic mix of clinical responsibilities. Were looking for a collaborative physician who thrives in a team environment and enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
Youll be supported by a dedicated team that includes:
- Two Registered Nurses (RNs)
- One Medical Assistant (MA)
- Two Patient Service Representatives (PSRs)
- One OPAT Pharmacist
- One 340B Pharmacist

Qualifications
- MD/DO, Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
- Highly computer literate and familiar with charting, EPIC experience preferred
- Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
- Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
- Analytical thinker and complex problem-solver
