The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Tidelands Health are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing community-based practice in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown and Horry Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Tidelands Health operates Georgetown Memorial Hospital (131 beds) in Georgetown, SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for-profit, health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities and technology. We are our region’s MUSC Health affiliate. Tidelands Health is dedicated to keeping the communities we serve healthy and active, inside, and outside of the hospital. Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Eligible for medical license in South Carolina 

 

Position Highlights:

  • Join a well-respected heart & vascular practice in the community
  • 2 current hospitals, Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, and plans to expand to a third, Tidelands Health Carolina Bays in the future
  • 24/7 emergent PCI program, 1 Cardiac Cath Lab, and 1 Special Procedures room at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital
  • 4 outpatient practices locations in Pawleys Island, Georgetown, Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach with plans to expand a fifth practice in North Myrtle Beach
  • 3 RCIS-certified technicians
  • Special device clinic for pacemakers and cardiac implant patients at the Pawleys Island clinic
  • CT Cardiac Imaging
  • MUSC Health collaboration to expand community access to advanced cardiology care
