Compensation & Benefits:
Annual salary: $288,764 - $318,071 based on years of experience and quality incentives.
Financial incentives: $35,000 Geographic Differential Stipend, $35,000 Sign-On Bonus and $25,000 Relocation assistance. Educational Loan Reimbursement programs with IHS, NHSC/HRSA, and PSLF.

Schedule and Work-Life Balance:
Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities.
Generous Time Off: 33 days (264 hours) annually, including holidays, and 10 (80 hours) additional days of CME.
Practice Details:
Clinic facilities: 11 exam spaces with one procedure rooms. One medical assistant per physician, dedicated Primary Care nurse case manager, and nurse triage. Ancillary services include Mammogram, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound including ECHO, X?ray, laboratory services, and MRI.
Patient Volume: 12-14 pediatric patients per day in clinic, plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly. EMR and tools include Meditech, Dragon Dictation, and DAX AI assisted documentation.
Procedure opportunities: Womens health, prenatal, vasectomies, colposcopies, circumcisions, wound care, draining abscesses, and cyst removal.
Hospital Capabilities: Attached to Wrangell Medical Center a Critical Access Hospital with a 24/7 emergency department.
Additional Care Opportunities:
Occasional long-term care and home visits.
Optional involvement in rural outreach or consultative support.
Qualifications:
New graduates encouraged to apply.
MD or DO with an Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
Active DEA registration
BLS certification required
