St. Joseph’s Health is seeking per-diem Hospital Medicine Physicians to work available Nocturnist shifts in Syracuse, NY. Position Details:
- Nocturnist Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am
- Responsible for admissions and overnight inpatient management
- Works in conjunction with Hospital Medicine Providers to conduct history & physicals with documentation in EPIC EMR
- Arranges for necessary follow-up care for patients as needed upon discharge from the Hospital
- Collaborates with colleagues and specialists to manage changes in patient condition

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Prior Hospitalist experience preferred, not required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and dedication to team-based care

Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $210.00 per hour
- Malpractice Insurance provided, with post-tail coverage
