• Licenses/Certifications: Iowa Medical License, DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: Active practicing in Emergency Medicine for at least 12 months or recent completion of residency

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a diverse patient population with an annual volume of around 22,000 patients
• Manage routine ER duties including assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization
• Perform emergency procedures and codes as needed
• Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR and dictate notes via Dragon
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including APPs, to ensure seamless patient flow
• Support the hospital’s transition with flexible staffing needs during changeovers

What You Need:

• Active and unrestricted Iowa Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• DEA registration in Iowa
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 12 months recent practice in Emergency Medicine or completion of residency within last 6 months
• Ability to pass background check (no DUIs or license suspensions)
