What You’ll Do:
- Provide solo emergency department coverage during assigned shifts
- Manage an average of 90-100 patients daily, with 18–20 patients per shift
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mid-level providers
- Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient care
- Offer high-quality emergency care in a facility with an open ICU
- Ensure adherence to all safety and healthcare regulations
What You Need:
- Current NC Medical License and eligibility for Medicaid and PECOS enrollment
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine or critical care experience
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
About the Assignment:
This emergency medicine opportunity is based at a prominent hospital in Clinton, North Carolina, with an annual patient volume of approximately 32,000. The facility experiences a steady flow of urgent cases, providing an excellent environment for experienced ER physicians to hone their skills and deliver outstanding patient care. You will work in a supportive setting with a team dedicated to your success, housing provided in hospital-owned apartments, with travel costs capped at $500.
