AdventHealth Wesley Chapel OBGYN Hospitalist Role

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced OB Hospitalist to join our growing team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. 

Responsibilities of the OB/GYN Hospitalist provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, round-the-clock care for patients. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and surgical procedures, and collaborating with nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, hospitalists provide consultative services, support emergency department evaluations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care while shaping the next generation of OB/GYN professionals. Flexible schedules will include fourteen 12-hour shifts OR seven 24-hour shifts per month.

We are seeking physicians with the following qualifications:

• Current medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
• Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation
• 5 years minimum of Labor and Delivery experience 
• Proficiency with hospital EMR systems
• A motivation to increase patient safety and elevate patient satisfaction, along with dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are required.
