What You’ll Do:
- Provide support to surgical staff during urgent cardiothoracic procedures
- Assist with vein harvesting and other specialized surgical procedures
- Manage patient care for adult patients, including pre- and post-operative support
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage, including weekends, approximately 3 weekends per month
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Rounding and patient monitoring to ensure stability post-surgery
- Document procedures and patient care using EPIC EMR system
What You Need:
Required: - PA license in Pennsylvania
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or equivalent setting
Preferred: - Acute care certification (not required)
- Experience with vein harvesting and complex adult cardiac cases
