AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join a highly specialized inpatient Heart Transplant and Advanced Heart Failure team at AdventHealth Orlando. This is a 100% hospital-based role focused on caring for patients with advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support needs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support needs in a dedicated inpatient setting.
  • Work alongside a highly specialized transplant team managing some of the most complex cardiovascular patients in the region.
  • Develop expertise in advanced heart failure therapies, transplant medicine, and mechanical circulatory support.
  • Help guide patients through critical stages of their transplant and heart failure journey while contributing to exceptional clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in a collaborative call rotation supporting continuity of patient care.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Primarily 10-12 hour shifts
  • Primary inpatient practice with future opportunity to provide scheduled outpatient clinic coverage
  • Call rotation includes approximately 3-4 nights and 1 weekend per month
  • Additional call compensation provided

Qualifications

  • APRN or PA-C with current Florida licensure (or eligibility)
  • National certification, BLS, and ACLS required
  • Advanced Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, or Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS/VAD) experience preferred
  • New graduates with a strong interest in transplant or advanced heart failure medicine are encouraged to apply
