• Weekend coverage -- 24-hour call shifts, Saturday and Sunday
• Beeper call with 30-minute response time required
• Adult patients only -- inpatient setting exclusively
• Hospitalist and ER physicians on staff -- limits phone consults
• Trauma surgery experience required
• Laparoscopic surgery skills preferred -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy
• Pediatric and neonatal surgery experience preferred
• GI endoscopy experience preferred -- upper, lower, colonoscopy
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
