  • Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (VT license required)
  • Experience: Prior inpatient hospitalist experience preferred

What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient care for adult patients in a community hospital setting
  • Respond to codes and rapid response calls as needed
  • Manage ventilator patients and step-down level care
  • Collaborate with ED, surgical teams, and nurses to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Document patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
  • Support hospital routines, including discharges and admissions
  • Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled

What You Need
Required:
  • MD or DO degree with valid license to practice in Vermont
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • 7+ years of inpatient hospitalist experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills in adult inpatient care
    Preferred:
  • Ventilator management experience
  • Experience with Cerner EMR
