As an Orthopedic Surgeon at our Orthopedic Care Clinic, you'll work with a team of highly skilled providers that puts patients first! Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with primary care providers, other specialties, and excellent support staff! The practice provides full spectrum care that prides itself on high-quality patient experiences.
General ortho focus, potential for sports med if there is an interest
You would practice at our Orthopedic Care Clinic in Butte, Montana
You would be joining a well-respected, established group of Orthopedic Surgery providers
Extended program includes 4 experienced surgical APP's who provide support in the OR, hospital, and ambulatory clinic
The clinic is conveniently located close to Intermountain Health: St. James Hospital providing easy access
EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide)
Excellent opportunity for mentorship, leadership roles, program expansion, professional growth, and plenty of program support
The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and an accredited Chest Pain Center
Compensation for PRN shifts
Primary Call: $1,250 per 24 hour shift
Clinical Hourly Rate: $333 per on-site hour
Travel and accommodations reimbursed via the Intermountain Travel and Expense policy

What youll bring
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency trained in Orthopedic Surgery
Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
Passion for Orthopedic Surgery
Experience preferred but open to new grads

St. James Healthcare is a 98-bed Level III Trauma Center has provided care in Southwest Montana and the surrounding area since 1881, and our clinical network ensures community needs are met. We have Life Flight services available 24-7-365 to receive & transport patients as needed. We offer comprehensive, specialty care, including a da Vinci Robotics surgery.
