- 24-hour call coverage -- 5 to 10 days per month on an ongoing basis
- 4 - 6 surgeries per week in addition to locums coverage
- Hospital-based neurosurgery position
- Common procedures: ACDF, lumbar fusion, lumbar discectomy, laminectomy
- Less common: spinal cord stimulator, kyphoplasty, carpal tunnel decompression
- On-call cases include emergent burr hole or craniectomy through the ER
- Hospital privileges required
