  • Licensing: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do:
  • Provide emergency medical care to an average of 36 patients per day
  • Collaborate with ED nurses and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for charting and documentation
  • Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Support patient admissions (~3 per shift) and initial assessments
  • Provide onsite orientation one day prior to your first shift
  • Maintain high standards of care in a fast-paced environment

What You Need:
  • Valid and current license/certification in Emergency Medicine (Board Certified or Eligible)
  • At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical and communication skills

About the Assignment:
This opportunity is for coverage due to FMLA leave at a respected hospital serving the Hancock community. The facility provides a dynamic and patient-focused environment, equipped with a dedicated ED team ready for your expertise. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, and temporary privileges are available as needed.
